Ratings come from Google. We shrink each score towards the average by how many reviews back it, so a 4.7 from three hundred reviews outranks a 5.0 from three.

A venue is only listed if we hold a price for it, if it has at least 25 reviews, and if it is the kind of place whose rating is a rating of the coffee. A golf club that happens to serve a good flat white is rated for its golf, so it is not here.
