About Coffee Near Me
Coffee Near Me is a free tool for finding cheap, good-value coffee in Australia. Browse real coffee prices read off cafe menus and confirmed by locals, sorted by what's nearest to you.
Why we built this
A flat white in one suburb can cost $4.50. The same drink, two blocks away, can cost $7.20. Cafes don't list prices online, and the gap between cheapest and most expensive is wider than most people realise. Coffee Near Me makes that gap visible.
Where prices come from
Coffee Near Me shows two kinds of price, and every price is labelled with which one it is.
From locals. Someone paid for a coffee and told us what it cost. When several people submit the same drink at the same cafe, we show the median of those submissions from the last 60 days, so one odd price cannot move the number.
From published menus. We read menus that cafes publish on their own websites, and cafe owners can send us a rate card directly. These prices are labelled as menu prices, and where we have the source we link back to the menu we read.
When both exist for the same drink, size and milk, the price a local actually paid wins. Menus go out of date, and what you pay at the counter is what counts.
A price a person submitted or confirmed is marked as outdated after 30 days. A price we read off a menu ourselves is marked as outdated after 180 days, because a printed menu changes more slowly than our confidence that someone still stands behind a number they typed. Nothing is quietly dropped, and anyone can confirm a price in one tap, which resets the clock.

How this is paid for
Coffee Near Me is free to use, and it is built and paid for by one person. There is no investor and no cafe paying for placement, which is the reason the rankings can be trusted.
If it has saved you a few dollars, you can chip in. It is optional, it changes nothing about the data, and no cafe can buy its way up the rankings.
What we don't do
- No ordering or payments, just prices
- No reviews or ratings of cafes, Google has that covered
- Organic rankings are not for sale. Any paid placement is clearly labelled and never changes where a cafe ranks. We do not show any today.
- No selling your email, read our privacy stance below
Privacy
We don't require accounts to browse or submit. Submissions are deduplicated by an anonymous token in your browser, plus a one-way hash of your IP. We never store raw IPs and we never sell your email.
