Fewer listings that are not cafes, and a way to tell us
Eighty venues that were never cafes are out of the listings, and every cafe page now has a report button.
Search results should be cafes. Ours were not always. A car wash, a ferry terminal and a run of pubs and restaurants had found their way into the listings, and one of them was ranking first in its suburb.
What changed
- Eighty venues that are not cafes have been taken out of search, the map and the suburb pages. No suburb lost its page in the process, so coverage is unchanged.
- Every cafe page now has a report button. If a place has closed, was never a cafe, or the details are wrong, it takes one tap to say so.
Why it matters
A price directory is only worth opening if the places in it sell coffee. Reporting is the fastest way to find the ones we cannot spot ourselves, and like everything else here it needs no account.
